How can we go about marketing a ecommerce based product? What can be initial steps to be followed? - Fri, 19 Mar 2010
I planned a marketing strategy for my company, which provides writing and translation services. Google ads is a part of the strategy, but somehow I'm not happy with the results. My budget for the day is $5 & I get around 25 clicks in a week. Is that good? - Fri, 19 Mar 2010
I've 1 campaign with 2 ad groups - 1 for writing services and 1 for translation. I got 4 clicks for writing services on the first day and 0 clicks hence forth. All the clicks that I receive now come from the translation ads. I started the campaign on March 15th and have received 9 clicks on March 15th, 7 clicks on March 16, 5 clicks on March 17 and 4 clicks on March 18 (I believe this is because the average CPC rose). The total impressions were 10,919 out of which we got just 25 clicks and no co ...

Would anyone like to help me forecast the click-through and conversion rates for a new website promotion? - Fri, 19 Mar 2010
I need to establish min/max and average performance benchmarks. Our website will be B2B, geared to real estate developers interested in Caribbean project opportunities. We will have a press release published in the e-newsletter of an industry association which is mailed out to 200,000 members. Based on current standards, how many of these can I reasonably expect will view our website, and how many would register and/or subscribe to our newsletter?

European SNS and American SNS - Thu, 18 Mar 2010
I talked with European people today and they said there are many SNS services in Europe. It sounds like there is no dominant service. Also they don't have strong impression about Twitter. In my understanding Facebook is dominant while Twitter is used less in the US.
If you are asked how European situation is different from American situation, how you would answer? Is there any major difference as long as SNSs are concerned.

Who's studying their keyword position relationships? - Thu, 18 Mar 2010
Today I found some keywords that decreased CTR as position improved. Much like Giffen Goods challenge the Law of Demand, these keywords question some fundamental bidding assumptions. Has anyone else found these in their accounts? Any theories on why they behave like this? How have you set their bids?
